This is the blog of ELIA – European League of Institutes of the Arts. Through this blog, we want to give you an overview of interesting things that are going on in the sphere of higher arts education, and provide a supplement to our newsletter and website. It aims to provide more direct information through newsflashes, and more in-depth information through conference blogs, interviews, and reflections.
You can find an overview of events at the announcement page of our website: http://www.elia-artschools.org/news/index, and sign up for our newsletter here: http://www.elia-artschools.org/publications/newsletter/signup.xml.
The European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA), founded in 1990, is the primary independent network organization of major arts education institutions and universities representing all subject disciplines and has a membership of over 350 arts institutions in 47 countries, altogether representing more than 250,000 art students.
ELIA is grateful for the support it receives from the European Commission through an “Operating grant for Organizations active at European Level in the field of Culture” and from its members, among others.
